A1 Wood Pellets
ENplus® A1 is the highest quality standard in Europe and is audited by the European Pallet Council. This standard provides parameters that are very important in the operation of a biomass boiler, including ash percentage, moisture content, mechanical durability, energy content and ash melting point.
Wood pellets are made by pressing wood/scraps, which is firstly crushed by a hammer mill in order to obtain even mass. This mass is put into press, where it is squeezed through a shape containing required size holes (usually 6 mm in diameter, sometimes 8 mm or larger). Due to high pressure of pressing, the temperature of wood rises a lot and lignin slightly layers, thus creating natural glue binding agent, which becomes firmer while cooling down and maintains the form of a pellet.
15 kg bags can be easily handled and poured into a pellet heater/boiler, fuel storage.
